Here is a clinical finding you may find helpful and encouraging!

I have no ‘evidence’ or studies to support this claim, I am simply sharing this information based on the findings we see with some of our patients who believed or were told in the past that what they experience is a food sensitivity or intolerance.

The fact is there are true food sensitivities or food intolerances out there. However, in many cases we discover that a food sensitivity is, in fact a gut problem. If your gut in inflamed or unhealthy, which happens with IBS, colitis, diverticulitis or other GI diagnosis, you cannot properly absorb or digest nutrients correctly. This impaired digestion causes symptoms similar to a food sensitivity or food intolerance.

What we notice with our weight loss patients as we work on gut repair and gut health strategies is that they start processing and enjoying foods they previously thought they may be intolerant to.

I hope this encourages you friends! And motivates you to continue to advocate for your health as you work towards reaching your weight loss goals.
